overview of African Peace Network

OVERVIEW OF AP-Net:

AP-Net (African Peace Network) is the African peacebuilding Network that is committed to sustaining peace and stability, protecting rights, and building a better future for Africans who are forced to flee their country due to civil unrest.

We engage in peaceful dialogue with youth and national governments in different parts of Africa to protect the rights of African citizens.

We provide significant support and capacity building for young peace ambassadors as a way of enhancing their ability to address local and national conflict within their respective countries.

We work in over 34 countries across Africa, and hope to expand to other parts of the African continent, using our expertise to sustain the Africa peace process.

African Peace Network; AP-Net' greatest asset is our workforce. We work with passionate, talented, committed and creative youth who are inspired by the desire to transform lives and the African continent. Thanks to you African leaders, who are passionate about finding solutions to the social problems affecting Africa, and sustaining peace across the continent.

Through our annual peacebuilding conferences we provide opportunities for young people to attend and acquire skills in conflict resolution and transformation, and also to develop peacebuilding policy and most importantly to interact with African leaders, and other peace ambassadors across the African continent.
